The Tuition Set-Aside funding is undergoing restructuring with respect to the administration of the student access guarantee, scholarships, bursaries and work-study (Experience Works).
The Experience Works program is being phased out at the end of this session (April 30, 2014) to make the administration of Tuition Set-Aside funds for student employment more efficient. There will no longer be a call for applications or adjudication of positions. Tuition Set-Aside will continue to support work-study positions on campus, however positions will be funded through the budget development process and will not be associated with Career Services.
If your department is requesting a student position, please do so on the budget input workbook, tab 4a part-time non-teaching.
The allocation of student staff positions will be determined in the budget approval process.
Career Services currently has limited information about the process and changes. Academic departments are encouraged to contact their Deans for more information.
