Important Dates
Whether you are interested in applying for OSAP funding, or bursaries and scholarships through Brock, there are a number of deadlines to keep in mind. We've created the following list of important dates to help you keep organized. Be sure to mark them in your calendar.
You might also want to check out the Registrar's Office website [1] for a list of important dates, as well as the Finance website [2] for more information about payment deadlines and important dates for withdrawing from courses.
June 30 Brock's deadline to apply for Full-Time OSAP [3] for 2012-2013. Keep in mind that you can still apply after this date, however, there may be a delay receiving your funding. Applying after the start of the term may also result in a significant decrease in the amount of funding you are eligible for.
End of July Brock scholarships will be posted to your Brock student account.
August 1 The "Awards and Bursary Application" [4] opens for currently registered students to be considered for all awards and bursaries. Submit a single application to be eligible for all of our current student awards and bursaries.
September 6 We will begin confirming enrollment for all undergraduate students receiving Full-Time OSAP funding. If you are registered in your courses, you can expect to receive your first installment of OSAP funding within a week.
October 5 Deadline to submit a Full-Time OSAP application and all supporting documentation for just the Fall term.
October 15 Deadline to submit an "Awards and Bursary Application" for current student bursaries. Submit the single application before this date be eligible for our need-based bursaries.
November 6 Deadline to apply for Part-Time OSAP funding for the Fall term only.
January 1 Applications open for entering students for all awards and bursaries.
January 24 Deadline to apply for Full-Time and Part-Time OSAP funding for the Fall/Winter, and to submit all signature pages and required supporting documentation. We may be able to process signature pages submitted after this date, but there is no way to override the application deadline.
February 27 Deadline to submit Full-Time OSAP Appeals to the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office
March 13 Deadline to apply for Part-Time OSAP for the Winter term only.
March 31 Deadline for applications for entering student awards and bursaries. Submit a single application before this date be eligible for our merit-based scholarships.
May 31 Deadline to submit the "Awards and Bursary Application" [4] for current student scholarships. Submit a single application before this date be eligible for our merit-based scholarships.
November 2013 Date you will be expected to start repaying your Full-Time OSAP funding if you are done full-time studies in April 2013. You can learn more about OSAP repayment on the CanLearn website [5].
