Psychology Professor Awarded NSERC Grant

Dr. Stefan M. Brudzynski (Psychology) was recently awarded a Discovery Grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).  Dr. Brudzynski will use the award to study “Neural mechanisms of animal vocalization and communication”.  Dr. Brudzynski has a long and distinguished research career.  He is honoured to receive the NSERC grant and states that the award "will allow for continuation of studies that will contribute to a better understanding functions of mammalian brain and particularly animal and human emotional states".  The Faculty of Social Sciences congratulates Dr. Brudzynski on this achievement.
