Tenure and Promotion

Under the terms of Article 21 of the Collective Agreement between Brock University and the Brock University Faculty Association (1 July 2011 to 30 June 2014) [1], tenure and/or promotion involves three stages:

1. consideration and recommendation by the home Department/Centre of the candidate;
2. consideration and recommendation by a Committee on Tenure and Promotion in the home Faculty of the candidate; and
3. consideration and decision by the Provost and Vice-President, Academic
