Knot weaving is a form of ancient Chinese folk art. Its unique charm and various patterns demonstrate Chinese people’s intelligence and rich culture. Through learning to weave a special Chinese knot craft, the participants will appreciate the culture and beauty of the ancient Chinese art, and learn about its deeper cultural meaning. Different shapes of Chinese knots have different meanings, but they all demonstrate Chinese people’s love of life and pursuit of happiness and harmony. In this one hour workshop, you will learn how to weave the popular simple knots and use them to create beautiful bracelets or charms.
