Mission Statement

The mission of Academic Advising and Exploration Services, Office of the Registrar at Brock University is to provide supportive and informative services that assist students in the understanding of university rules, program requirements, program options and campus services. We serve as facilitators and work to engage students to make informed decisions regarding their educational, career, and life goals.
By encouraging students to be active learners and active members of the university community, we work to assist students:

• With their transition to university life.
• To take responsibility for their learning and goal setting.
• To implement strategies for achieving their goals.
• To graduate in a timely manner, successfully meeting all requirements.

We recognize these four points as Student Learning Goals and follow the developmental advising model throughout our advising sessions.
