We Welcome the World Fall Reception 2010

On October 25, 2010 Brock International welcomed current Visiting International Professors, Scholars and University Mentorship participants from around the world at the We Welcome the World Fall 2010 Reception. The event was organized to formally recognize new participants in the VIP, VIS, and UM programs at Brock. Scholars from prestigious universities in Colombia, China, Egypt, Germany, Korea, Pakistan, Spain and Turkey were treated to a warm reception at the event held in the Pond Inlet.

The event was attended by senior University officials, Dr. Ian Brindle, Vice-President Research Services and Dr. Murray Knuttila, Provost and Vice-President Academic who both gave welcome speeches to international scholars. Scholars  and their Brock host faculty who were present at the reception were presented with awards to formally recognize their valued participation and contribution to Brock University.

The event was a good occasion for scholars to establish contacts with Brock faculty and fellow international scholars.
