March Break Camp: March 11-15, 2013
An introduction to the world of lifesaving and lifeguard competitions. Participants learn what actual lifeguards do in real situations and some competition techniques. JLC members also prepare to be future members of our lifeguard team. The ratio of certified instructors to campers is approximately 1:12. Develop your swimming skills, lifesaving skills, personal fitness, community education, lifesaving knowledge, leadership and teamwork. Earn seven recognition seals and Canadian Swim Patrol awards (Rookie/Ranger/Star Patrol), Basic First Aid, and Lifesaving Fitness.

Time
8:30 am-4:30 pm daily.
Participants
Children 8-15 who can swim a minimum of 25 metres and tread water for 2 minutes.
Program
Activities include swimming, livesaving skills, personal fitness, community education, lifesaving knowledge, leadership, and leadership. You can earn 7 different Recognition Seals.

Before/after care is available from 8-9 am and 4-5 pm.

Drop-off and Pick-up
Parents can park briefly in parking Lot "P" adjacent to the Campus Security building. An instructor will meet your child there and accompany them to the facility. At the end of each session, a camp instructor will again walk your children back to "P" Lot for pick-up.
