Instructional Resource Centre (IRC)
As an Instructional Resource Centre (IRC) library assistant, John Haight assists patrons with finding resources and front counter sales. Circulation services involve instructional supply sales, inter-campus loans, directing students to pay their fines in the James A. Gibson Library, accepting payment for graduate students laser print accounts, directing students to library policies on the IRC website, providing information regarding swipe access forms, checking out reserves and IRC resources, and handling cash for IRC and bookstore supplies.
As a media assistant, John assists with audio-visual services, instructional facilities, and supplies for Faculty of Education staff, graduate students, instructors and teacher candidates. Instructional supply sales and technical assistance are also provided for the Media Production Room resources and IRC media equipment.
