Drop-in Consultation Hours - Learning Services Instructors

Students are invited to take advantage of the Drop-in Consultations with an Academic-Zone Learning Instructor —a drop-in service, located in the Consultation Room of the Learning Commons (ST 227), operated on a "first come, first served" basis, by A-Z Learning Services. Instructors work collaboratively with students, helping them develop their potential and confidence as university students in areas such as essay writing, problem solving, or general study skills (e.g., time management or exam preparation).

Consultation Guidelines

A-Z Learning Instructors are professionals committed to helping you with your writing and study skills. All instructors can assist you with any general academic concern regardless of their area of specialty.

· The consultation objective is to assist you in improving your academic

skills.

· As A-Z Learning Services focuses on the learning process, staff will

not edit essays or solve problems for students or review assignments the day

they are due.

· Consultations are between 20-30 minutes in length depending on the

nature of the topic.

· Please bring samples of your work or assignment to the consultation.
