I have been a student at Brock University for six years. During that time I have successfully completed a BSc in Health Science (4 year honours), and went on to obtain a Master of Applied Health Science.
I really enjoyed my time as a student at Brock University in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences because the administration and staff are very approachable and knowledgeable. The Masters in Applied Health Science graduate program at Brock is excellent in exposing students to research methodology and provides good support for students to attend national and international conferences.
Within the two years of the Master’s program, I was able to attend both the Canadian and American Diabetes Association conferences, as well as co-author a paper and learn a vast number of lab techniques.
After completing both my degrees from Brock University, I was immediately accepted into the PhD Medical Sciences program at McMaster University. I feel that the experience I gained at Brock has prepared me for continued graduate studies and the skills necessary to become a future scientist in my area of research.
