Instructor Guide to Teaching and Learning at Brock
This guide is dedicated to all “teachers” at Brock University, whether new to the institution or veteran faculty members. While the Brock Centre for Pedagogical Innovation formerly known as Centre for Teaching, Learning and Educational Technologies provided the initiative for the compilation of this handbook, the first edition, published in 1994, was the result of a collaborative effort undertaken by the Centre and a number of Brock faculty and program staff committed to faculty development at our institution.

Collaborative Faculty-based Grants Program
Collaborative groups or learning enhancement teams or departments within any of the seven faculties can apply for a grant of up to $1,000 for new or existing initiatives whose objectives include the support and enhancement of student learning at either the classroom, departmental/centre or program level.
Faculty Consultations & Workshops
The Centre is available to consult on a variety of teaching related issues including curriculum mapping, the evaluation of teaching [6], the preparation of teaching dossiers [7] and the use of educational technologies [8] including online course development [9]. We also offer a wide variety of workshops [10] for faculty.
