Confucius Institute

 

The Confucius Institute at Brock University is a collaborative endeavor with Minjiang University in Fuzhou, Fujian based on the growing cultural, intellectual and economic influence of China on the Niagara Peninsula, Greater Toronto and Golden Horseshoe areas of Southern Ontario.

The Institute is housed within the brand-new International Centre located at the crossroads of Brock University’s St. Catharines campus. Both the Niagara (main campus) and Hamilton locations will provide key space for Mandarin language teacher training and language evaluation. 

The Institute will also offer a means for increasing understanding and appreciation of Chinese art and culture by providing venues and opportunities for cultural and artistic avticities such as the upcoming Hunan Xiang Embriodery Exhibition,Chinese water-color painting class, Mandarin CLub etc..
