Accessible Parking and Transportation

General information about the Ontario government’s proposed Accessible Transportation Standard is available at the Ministry of Community and Social Services [1].

On May 31, 2010 the Ontario government announced that it would integrate three standards into one regulation — the Proposed Integrated Accessibility Regulation [2] under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 [3]. This proposed regulation is intended to align and phase-in requirements of the information and communications, employment and transportation accessibility standards.
