The Research Ethics Board (REB) and The Office of Research Services (ORS) share the mandate of providing education relating to the ethical conduct of research to members of the Brock community. The Research Ethics Office would be happy to meet with researchers on an individual or class basis, to facilitate a case study discussion, present an overview of research ethics issues, or simply participate in an informal discussion.

If you are conducting research at a facility outside of Brock, you are required to obtain the necessary Research Ethics Board clearance from the participating institution/school board. Clearance by one Research Ethics Board does not oblige the participating Research Ethics Board to grant ethics clearance to the protocol. Please read the Guidelines for Inter-Institutional Research if you are participating in multi-institutional research.
