- Non-ADED Brock courses: Students who are taking other undergraduate (non-ADED courses) at Brock must use the Undergraduate Registration Guide in order to register for such courses. NOTE: The Registration start and end dates for these courses may be different than ADED dates
- Non-ADED courses on a Letter of Permission: Students who wish to take undergraduate (non-ADED courses) at another University for credit towards a Brock degree, must apply for and be granted a Letter of Permission (LOP) from the Office of the Registrar before registering at the other University. Application for the LOP must include a calendar description of the course(s) to be taken and the LOP application fee of $35. An application for a Letter of Permission form can be found on our Forms webpage. Courses within the same academic session may be requested on one application form, provided they are at the same institution and the start and end dates are specified. For further details, refer to the Brock University Undergraduate Calendar or contact your Adult Education Academic Advisor at firstname.lastname@example.org
- Students must have registered in at least one ADED course before they will be permitted to apply to take courses on a Letter of Permission
Students completing the last credit(s) for their degree on a Letter of Permission, must arrange to have their official transcript, from the host institution, sent to the Office of the Registrar prior to May 15 for Spring Convocation, and prior to September 15 for Fall Convocation. Students not meeting these deadlines will have their application for graduation forwarded to the next Convocation.
Students admitted or readmitted after one year's absence to studies in 1998 Spring Session or later should note that any course taken on a Letter of Permission will not be included in the calculation of any Brock averages.
