Children under the age of six years may not be admitted to the swimming pool unless they are accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian (within arms reach) who is at least 12 years of age and is responsible for their direct supervision, with a maximum of two children for each parent or guardian (2:1).
  2. 4. Guardians or group leaders are responsible for the children in their care while in the facility and must directly supervise the children at all times.
  5. Guardians or group leaders must be at least 12 years of age.
  6. Parents or guardians wishing to remain on the pool deck must wear proper swimming attire.
  7. Ratios of instructors/lifeguards to bathers must also be maintained as per Ontario Regulation 565/90.
