Math camp exposes students to new ways of thinking

Last month, Brock’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics hosted a number of middle and high school students for a weeklong math camp.

The camp was designed to expose students to new ways of thinking involving mathematics and to allow those who share a common interest in mathematics to interact.

The camp was organized by Professor Thomas Wolf, who also administers the online Caribou Mathematics Competition. Having participated in math camps regularly as a child he wanted to provide today’s students who enjoy mathematics with a similar experience.
