Dr. Michael Carter receives Faculty of Humanities Award for Excellence in Research and Creative Activity

Hearty congratulations to Dr. Michael Carter of the Department of Classics who is the inaugural winner of the Faculty of Humanities Award for Excellence in Research and Creative Activity! The award, which was created by the Humanities Research Institute, recognizes a consistent track record of outstanding research or creative achievements. Dr. Carter, who is an expert on Roman gladiators and gladiatorial display, will present a public lecture in November sponsored by the HRI (details to follow).
