Visa Instructor announces performance art exhibition and residency.

VISA Instructor Irene Loughlin (1P97, 2P98, 3F96) has recently participated in The Month of Performance Art Berlin May 2014. The work in the accompanying image was produced in a workshop with international artists towards the goal of creating a manifesto by artists with disabilities. Following this performance, she worked as a Studio Assistant in Guatemala City assisting in the creation of large sculptures for an upcoming Biennial. She is currently an artist in residence at The Burren College of Art, Balleyvaughan, Northern Ireland, with the goal of producing an intermedia exhibition involving video projection, performance, sound art and installation/sculpture.
