Brock POLI Students Participate at the UN

Published on April 14 2014

This year, several Brock University students were given the incredible opportunity to compete at National Model United Nations. National Model United Nations is the largest and most renowned United Nations simulation event in the world accommodating over 5000 students from over 400 universities around the globe. The event took place in New York City as it does every year, where we stayed at the impressive Times Square Sheraton Hotel. We were fortunate to be able to talk and attend seminars with real diplomats including permanent United States diplomat Samantha Power, compete against universities from all over the world, and attend a debrief in the United Nations General Assembly. It was one of the best experiences I have had at my time at Brock University and I cannot wait to go back again next year.
