Brock University is open today (March 13).

Classes and activities will resume as scheduled.

However as Niagara and surrounding areas continue to dig out from yesterday's winter storm, please allow extra time for reaching Brock campuses in St. Catharines and Hamilton.
 

Brock campuses to close Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. (March 12)

Wednesday, March 12
11:05 a.m.

Brock University will close today Wednesday March 12 at 1 p.m. due to winter weather conditions.

This applies to classes and events at both the St. Catharines and Hamilton campuses.

All classes scheduled to commence at or after 1 p.m. will be cancelled and rescheduled.

Please monitor the Brock University website and social media channels, as well as local radio stations for any updates.

Environment Canada continues to forecast heavy and blowing snow for the day and gusting winds are expected to slow the pace of traffic on area roads and highways.

Brock officials will keep an eye on the winter storm that could bring with it up to 20 cm of snow and freezing rain.

Winter storm warning for Brock community (March 11)

Brock officials are closely watching a winter storm that is predicted to roll through Niagara overnight and tomorrow morning.

The storm could bring with it up to 20 cm of heavy snow and possibly freezing rain.
