Think writing an exam is tough? Try pitching your business idea to some of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurs.
At the Monster Pitch event on March 4, students at Brock University’s Goodman School of Business will be competing for a prize package that includes mentoring, business services and cash.
Students pre-selected on the strengths of their proposals will pitch those plans to a panel that includes Jim Treliving and Bruce Croxon of CBC’s Dragons’ Den, Spara Capital president Jason Sparaga (BBA ‘93) and Deborah Rosati (BAdmin’84), corporate director.
The annual event is organized by the Brock University Entrepreneurship Club. This year’s winning pitch will earn the future entrepreneurs a grant of $3,000 to put towards their business idea.
Bruce Croxon of CBC’s Dragons’ Den chats with Brock students from the Goodman School of Business at the 2012 Monster Pitch event.
