CONNECT 2014: Canada's Learning & Technology Conference - Call for Proposals

The CONNECT 2014 program committee would like to invite you to submit a proposal for a presentation or poster session that will take place during the Connect 2014 - Canada's Learning & Technology conference to be held May 8-9, 2014 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The lead presenter for each presentation or poster session will be granted free admission to the conference for the day of their presentation.

Connect 2014 is a two day national conference that connects K-12, college and university educators, librarians, school leaders and technologists with technology resources that support 21st century teaching and learning. This conference will provide educators, librarians, technologists and educational leaders with an opportunity to highlight their best practices and innovative solutions to the challenges that confront 21st century educational organizations.

Proposals are currently being accepted for:

• Presentations – presentation that highlights best practices in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning or a presentation related to enabling, managing, or deploying educational technologies and learning resources (60 minutes)
• Research presentations – presentation that highlight research related to the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning (60 minutes)
• Poster sessions – interactive demonstration that highlight best practices in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning, demonstrations of classroom projects that support 21st century skills, and demonstrations related to enabling, managing, or deploying educational technologies and learning resources. Presenters will have access to an interactive whiteboard for their demonstration (60 minutes).
• Research poster sessions – interactive demonstration that highlight research related to the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning. Presenters will have access to an interactive whiteboard for their demonstration (60 minutes)

Interested presenters should submit a proposal application by: January 31, 2014
