Classics major Eric Tincombe wins second prize in national essay competition -- for a second year in a row!

Congratulations to Eric Tincombe for receiving second prize at the junior level in the Classical Association of Canada's Undergraduate Essay Contest. The prize-winning paper was titled "The Pezhetairoi of Philip II and Alexander III" and had been written for a class on War and Peace in Ancient Greece. Eric was also a winner in last year's contest for a Roman history paper on Tacitus' portrayal of the Britons.
