2013 Connect Conference to take place on May 6-7

CONNECT 2013 is a National Learning & Technology Conference being held May 6-7 at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This event will provide University and College Faculty, Teacher Candidates, K-12 Educators, Academic Administrators, IT Staff and Business Leaders with the opportunity to CONNECT with peers from across Canada. It is an event that supports and enhances teaching practices with the use of instructional technology to equip Higher Ed and K-12 students with the skills needed to be competitive in the 21st century workplace and beyond.

WHERE: Scotiabank Convention Centre - 6815 Stanley Ave. - Niagara Falls
In addition to engaging presentations, hands-on workshops, interactive seminars and dynamic poster sessions, participants will be to explore the latest trends in educational technology as they interact with leading technology companies on the 27,000 square foot exhibit hall. Also scheduled as part of the CONNECT conference is a start-up alley and start-up pitch panel, 21st century Leadership Luncheon, Innovation in Ontario Luncheon, CanAm reception and exhibit hall wine reception.
As a co-host of this conference with Niagara College, the District School Board of Niagara and the Niagara Catholic District School Board, the conference brings togethers all of the major education entities in the Niagara region to highlight the region's efforts to support A 21st century knowledge economy.
