Visa Instructor announces exhibition.

IN(TO) THE VOID
Selected photo-based works from Amy Friend’s Dara alla Luce series and Matt Macintosh’s Abstraction –Subject series are presented as transitional objects. Voids of smoke and light are the re-configured focus, giving new light to previous intentions of vintage documentary and personal image objects. Through various interventions in perforating, removing, reducing and isolating, these two disparate yet analogous bodies of work both question the relationship between subject and object, our history and reality, our past and future.
