Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold asked the Brock community for 400 toys for local children this Christmas.
By the end of the annual Adopt an Angel campaign hosted by the Campus Store, faculty, staff and students delivered more than 550 gifts instead.
This despite having less time to collect the toys and more recipients in need than in previous years.
“We are very grateful for the way the community pulled together in order to achieve this challenge, even going above and beyond,” said Trudy Lockyer, Campus Store director. “No words can properly express how appreciative we are of everyone’s efforts. It’s amazing what the Brock community can achieve when we all come together for a cause.”
