Taking his talent to the tennis courts in London, Joel Dembe is set to represent Canada at the Paralympics. Dembe says that he has always been interested in sports, which is one of the reasons he enrolled in Brock's Sport Management program, graduating in 2007 with honours.
After leaving his job as a marketing analyst at TD bank, he climbed to become the number one ranked player in Canada. Dembe was the only Canadian wheelchair tennis player to stay within the top 48 in world rankings in order to qualify for the 2012 Paralympics.

The sport is played with most of the same rules, however the ball is allowed to bounce twice before it must be returned to the opponent.
