Two History Databases Upgraded with Full Text

The Library is pleased to announce that America: History and Life and Historical Abstracts have both been upgraded with the inclusion of new full text resources.

Encompassing world history from the 15th century to present day, Historical Abstracts with Full-Text covers all significant events affecting all geographic and demographic segments of the world, including world exploration and conquest, wars, political and spiritual movements, and the individuals whose accomplishments have stood the test of time. The database has the full text of nearly 300 history journals, 130 books, and additional articles from more than 1,800 journals in 40 languages.

America: History & Life with Full-Text offers resources on the history of the United States and Canada dating from the pre-colonial period to today, with the full texts of 200 journals, 100 books, and additional articles from more than 1,700 journals. In addition to English-language articles, the database contains resources that offer perspectives from overseas observers in more than 40 languages.
