Did you know that anti-depressants are consistently in the top two prescribed drugs among Brock graduate students? Let’s raise awareness of mental illness and remove its stigma--Let’s start talking!

The Canadian Mental Health Association has numerous resources (pamphlets, publications) that can be downloaded for free at http://www.thefsagroup.com/CMHA/ShoppingCart/eStore.aspx.

Shatter the Stigma - Mend the Mind

The battle to fight the stigma of mental illness will continue with the launch of a regionwide anti-stigma campaign by the Niagara Region. The goal of the campaign is to help people change their minds about mental illness.   Their website, www.mendthemind.ca, will provide information about mental health and mental illness as well as where people of all ages can get help.
