Residence move-in on Labour Day Monday

Published on September 01 2011

Brock’s traditional one-day residence move-in takes place Labour Day Monday, Sept. 5, for all of the University’s residence students.

Throughout the course of this day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 2,300 students will be moved onto campus.

For Brock staff and other students and visitors who plan to be on campus on Monday, please note that parking will not be permitted in any of the lots near residence buildings. They will be reserved for unloading only.

More than 400 volunteers, plus about 100 staff will be on hand to co-ordinate the move-in, however, the high number of vehicles arriving on campus typically results in slow moving line ups of traffic on several campus roadways throughout the day.
