Female students gather for scientific discovery

Sixty scientifically minded girls visited Brock this month as part of an annual event to encourage them to enter scientific fields.

Grade 11 students from as far as Belleville and the Ottawa Valley attended the two-day Scientifically Yours conference. It was the 21st year for the conference, which promotes scientific professions and gives the students a taste of university life.
