Brock has 1st place finish at MBA Games
Published on January 18 2011
The Faculty of Business sent a 24 member team to the MBA Games held in Toronto. The group participated in competitions in academics, athletics and spirit. They represented us extremely well in every event with their energy, effort and enthusiasm.
We are especially proud of our Business Simulation team which placed 1st in their event. The team of Danielle Herrnstein (Captain), Daniel Gruda and Najlaa Rauff, played top-management roles in a real-time simulation at an established corporation and interacted in a dynamic market with other participants. The business simulation replicates running a real business so students will have to make decisions in areas such as finance, marketing, strategy, sustainability, operations and human resources.
“This win represents the first time Brock has won an event at the MBA Games and served as a fabulous conclusion to a very rewarding weekend for all team participants”, said Shair Sekel, Director of Graduate Programs for the Faculty of Business.
