Mathematics — Honours, Awards and Special Invitations

• Daniel Ramunno received the Distinguished Student Award in Mathematics at Spring 2009 Convocation held on June 12, 2009.
• Zheng (Ryan) Zhang received the Distinguished Graduate Student Award at Spring 2009 Convocation held on June 12, 2009.
• Chris Plyley and Xiaoli Shang have been selected as recipients of the Dean of Graduate Studies Spring 2009 Research Fellowship.
• Chris Plyley has been selected by the Senate Graduate Studies Awards Sub-Committee to receive the G. Ronald Brown Graduate Award.
• Val Andrei Fajardo will receive NSERC Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship as well as Ontario Graduate Scholarship.
• Val Andrei Fajardo and Erin Kox are the 2009 recipients of the John & Roslyn Reed Book Prize.
