Mathematics — Recent appointments

• Alexander Odesskii has joined the department as a SHARCNET Research chair at the rank of associate professor on July 1, 2008. Alex comes to Brock from the Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics, Russia, and the University of Manchester, UK.
• Santo D’Agostino is the new permanent manager of Mathematics Development Programs overseeing the Mathematics Help Centre as of July 1, 2008.
