2010 Man Booker Prize Winner Announced

Howard Jacobson has been awarded one of the top literary prizes for his novel The Finkler Question. Jacobson's novel, considered to be a long shot for the prestigious prize, is a comic tale that begins with a mugging. Finalists for the 2010 Booker Shortlist included Peter Carey for Parrot and Olivier in America, Damon Galgot for In a Strange Room, Andrea Levy for The Long Song, Tom McCarthy for C, and Canadian Emma Donoghue for Room. Shortlisted novels have been ordered for the Library's Popular Reading Collection - for now, check out the following Booker Prize nominees:
