Marketing your social media presence

It is encouraged that you market your social media presence both online and offline. Each social media property has rules for use of their branded logos and promoting pages in print and on the web:

In print, when possible, the social media property’s logo or icon should be used alongside the page’s name, not the url. For example, to advertise Brock Univesity’s Facebook and Twitter precence in a brochure, the “Find us on Facebook” icon would be used with the words “Brock University” beside it and the Twitter bird logo with @BrockUniversity beside it, not the entire url (facebook.com/brockuniversity or twitter.com/brockuniversity)

Online, include a hyperlink to the actual Brock University unit page.
