Landsat-5 Composite Imagery [Ontario]

Three-band false colour infrared composite remote sensing images for LANDSAT 5 Thematic Mapper resampled to 25 metre resolution for the province of Ontario. Dates range from 1984 to 1995.

The green visible band shown in blue, red visible band shown in green and nearest infrared band shown in red. This results in an image where healthy summer deciduous vegetation appears in shades of red; deep clear water appears almost black; and sediment loaded water appears as bright turquoise. Very recent forest cutovers and infrastructure (bare soil) appear almost white.

The data is licensed to Brock University faculty, staff and students for teaching and research purposes only and requires the user to sign a Generic license agreement.
