Study Space for Graduate Students
Graduate Study Room
The Graduate Study Room (available on a drop-in basis) is located on the 6th floor of the Library and is open to Brock University graduate students who require a quiet space to work. The room features 22 extra-wide "non-reservable" study carrels with electrical outlets and overhead task lighting at each, 2 computer workstations, as well as lounge seating. It is available during the opening hours of the James A. Gibson Library. Eligible students can enter the room by swiping in with their Brock I.D. card. Cell phones should be switched off or set to vibrate mode. Low-level conversation is permitted, but should be kept to a minimum.
Graduate Meeting Room
The Graduate Meeting Room is also located on the 6th floor and is reserved for Brock University graduate students who need a place to present or work with others. Intended for groups of 2-10 persons, this room features an LCD panel which can be connected to a laptop. It is available during the opening hours of the James A. Gibson Library. Eligible students can enter the room by swiping in with their Brock I.D. card. The room may be reserved online for up to 2 hours per day via the Book a Group Study Room web page.
Lockers
Thirty-eight (38) lockers, located on the 6th floor, are available for individual graduate students for up to an academic year. These are allocated through a lottery at the beginning of the Fall term.
