Finding Aids

A finding aid is the key resource for researchers when searching for primary records in an archive.  The finding aid will describe the content, context and organization of an archival fonds/collection and provide an inventory.  The Archives & Special Collections have over 600 finding aids written for its resources.

Whenever possible, finding aids are linked to descriptions of archival materials found through Omni – our academic search tool. Or, you can keyword search or browse all of the available finding aids in our Digital Repository.
