Scanned Topographic Maps of the Golden Horseshoe
The CanMatrix data set includes scanned and georeferenced topographic maps for the entire Canadian land mass. The Map Library has prepared a digital exhibit of topographic maps for the Golden Horseshoe. These data are also available for download from GeoGratis; a portal provided by the Earth Sciences Sector (ESS) of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan).

Census Mapping
Every five years, Statistics Canada surveys the Canadian population and provides the university with access to these data files through the Data Liberation Initiative. The Map Library has generated a series of thematic census maps for the 1996, 2001 and 2006 census years.
