Planned Giving - A Gift for the Future
Donors may wish to include the University Library in their estate plans. The most common form of planned giving is simply including a statement in a will designating the University Library to receive part of an estate. An easy way of leveraging the amount of support an average person can give is to take out an insurance policy naming the University as a beneficiary. Modest monthly payments can generate a substantial gift after death and you will receive an income tax receipt for the premium payments while you are alive.
Other forms of planned giving include RRSP's, RRIF's, gifts of listed securities, Annuities and Charitable Remainder Trusts.
