Group Study Room Booking Policy
Group Study Room Booking Policies:
- Group use only; no individual use permitted
- No key sign-outs required,doors are unlocked. Access to the Graduate Student Meeting Room is via swipe access with Brock ID card.
- Reservations are limited to 2 hours per day and may be made no more than 14 days in advance
- Rooms must be booked online via the Book a Group Study Room webpage
- Rooms booked, but unoccupied after 15 minutes will become available to other students.
- Belongings cannot be left unattended.
- Whiteboard markers may be signed out and returned to the Circulation Desk. A $1.00 replacement fee applies if markers are not returned.
Regular Group Study Rooms
- For use by student groups only.
- 7 regular group study rooms for use by groups of 2-6 students.
- Equipped with a computer and whiteboard.
- Room numbers are: ST235, ST236, ST238 (main hallway) and ST246-ST250 (back wall).
Large Group Study Room
- For use by student groups only.
- 1 large group study room (ST238) for use by groups of 2-12 students.
- Equipped with a computer and whiteboard.
- Also equipped with a large LCD panel which connects to a laptop. (NB: it does not connect to the computer in the room.The cable for the LCD unit may be signed out at the Library Circulation Desk. Instructions are posted in the room.
- Suitable for practicing presentations.
Graduate Student Meeting Room
- For use by graduate students only. No individual use.
- 1 large group study room for use by groups of 2-10 graduate students.
- Located on the 6th floor of the Library, Room 617.
- Equipped with a large LCD panel which connects to a laptop. Cables are provided.
- Swipe access for graduate students is via Brock ID card.
