Where do I drop off a student participating in both Smart Start and LEAP?
Please arrive on campus for 9:30am on the day Smart Start begins.  Follow the signs for Smart Start and bring any luggage for LEAP with you in the morning to LEAP/Smart Start registration. Our staff will meet will meet you at the end of the Smart Start day!
 

  

Where do I drop off a student participating in LEAP only?
Please arrive on campus to register at 3:15pm. Follow the signs for Smart Start to the Walker Complex.  A LEAP staff member will greet you by the Red Wall in the Walker Complex.

Pick up locations and emergency contact information will be provided to you at check in.

 

Looking for accommodations?
All LEAP student participants are provided with an on-campus residence room for the night of their LEAP program day (following Smart Start). If you would like to stay in the Niagara region while your student is participating in LEAP, the following accommodations in the local community offer a variety of room styles, features and other amenities. Guests of students attending the LEAP program are encouraged to make arrangements for accommodations early as local accommodations can fill up quickly during the summer months.

This accommodation is located approximately 500 metres from Brock University's main campus.

Keefer Mansion Inn

This accommodation is located approximately 4km from Brock University's main campus.

Holiday Inn & Suites Parkway
Conference Centre

This accommodation is located approximately 7km from Brock University's main campus.
 
Parents can also stay on campus as well by booking a room with our Conference Centre which offers accommodation during the summer months. For more information or to make a reservation, contact Brock's front desk staff 24 hours per day at (905) 688-5550, x3369.

 

Looking for ways you can spend the day while your student is participating in LEAP?   
Niagara Falls is less than half an hour away from the university campus. In addition to the falls, the many nearby attractions available for you to discover while in the region include museums, midway rides, and performances.  The city of St. Catharines has a number of attractions for you as well. Spend an afternoon exploring downtown St. Catharines and stop for something to eat at one of the 65 restaurants offering a variety of casual, local and diverse selections.
