INTC Minor Program (2007-8 Calendar Year)

Students can obtain a Minor in International Studies within their degree in another discipline by completing four credits of approved courses, as outlined in the INTC Minor program, with a minimum 60 percent overall average.

Full details on the INTC Minor program are given in the current Brock University Calendar. Briefly, the Minor encompasses:

  • INTC 1F90 - Foundations of Intercultural Studies
  • INTC 2P94 - Theories and Models of Intercultural Relations
  • INTC 3P92 -Applications of Theories and Models in Intercultural Studies
  • INTC 4P50 - Themes in Intercultural Studies
  • one INTC credit numbered 2(alpha)00 or above
  • one-half INTC credit numbered 2(alpha)90 or above

Available INTC options for the 1.5 credits of elective work noted above (as listed in the INTC Calendar entry) include courses in such areas as ancient civilizations, anthropology, art, geography, health, history, linguistics, literature, philosophy, regional cultures, tourism, and women's studies.
