Where is Brock University?
Brock is located in the lakeside city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Known as “The Garden City”, St. Catharines is situated in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula’s wine country. The region enjoys the warmest climate in Ontario and it is draped with vineyards and a number of world-renowned wineries. The University is perched upon the brim of the ecologically significant Niagara Escarpment overlooking the cities of St. Catharines and Niagara Falls and from a distance, Lake Ontario.
Niagara Falls is within a short distance. It is a city filled with many attractions as well as North America’s most voluminous waterfalls. Tourist attractions, including the world famous Maid of the Mist, are of great abundance and activities are offered to suit whatever your interest may be. A widespread selection of restaurants and luxurious hotels coat the city and the two casino’s offer many forms of entertainment, including popular musical guests.
One hour of travel toward the west will supply the city of Toronto, the capital of Ontario and the most populated urban area in Canada. There are countless forms of entertainment in Toronto on all levels as well as an extensive selection of cultural specialty stores, including food and clothing.
A short distance to the east is the United States and the city of Buffalo, New York. Many students wish to travel to the USA for shopping and professional sporting experiences.

Brock is a University that is consistently expanding. New academic buildings are being added to our campus, as well as research facilities.
Our residences are designed to fit the desires of particular students. We offer traditional style residences and townhouse style residences, each with their own distinct features. In the recent past, there have been two new residences added to the campus, bringing the total to 2391 beds spread across six student residences.
We offer state-of-the-art recreational and fitness facilities: gymnasiums, a fitness facility, olympic size swimming pool, squash courts, tennis courts, and outdoor fields have proven to be excellent sources of leisure and varsity success. A hiking trail system also runs through the campus that continues throughout the green areas of the Niagara Escarpment and alongside local riverbanks.
Brock’s library provides access to over 1.5 million holdings for students covering a vast array of topics. Many sources are available online and are accessible from your home computer using your Brock ID and password.

Accommodation
Residence :: Off-Campus Housing Office
If you are entering the Brock Community as an Exchange student, your accommodations are dependant upon the Exchange Agreement existing between your University and Brock. If your agreement does not guarantee you a room in residence, the Office of International Services at Brock will be glad to assist you in seeking accommodation.
If you are an incoming full-time International Student, you have the option of applying to live in residence or to live off-campus. The Off-Campus Housing Office assists students that are seeking off-campus accommodation.
