Maastricht University, located in the Province of South Limburg (The Netherlands), is home to more than 12,119 students, of which 30% are international. Maastricht University is the youngest university in the Netherlands and is known for its innovative education system, advanced research and international orientation. It also is home to the first Problem-Based-Learning (PBL) in Europe. This systems challenges students to work together on issues that form the focus of research at the University of Maastricht.

Dates
 
Autumn semester (Brock’s Fall term) begins at the end of August/beginning of September and ends in December.
Spring semester (Brock’s Winter term) begins in January and ends in July.
 
Housing
 
Students studying at Maastricht have the option to live on- or off-campus. All exchange students, if application is received on-time, are guaranteed accommodation in the Guesthouse.
