Southern Cross University is situated on the Mid North and North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. The Mid North Coast has a subtropical climate and is known for its beaches, while the North Coast has a mild, sub-tropical climate. It is a regional university with more than 14,000 students. The University’s primary campus is in Lismore, with other campuses located at Coffs Harbour and Tweed Heads.

Dates
 
Semester 1 (Brock’s Winter Term) typically starts in mid to late February and ends mid June.
Semester 2 (Brock’s Fall Term) typically starts at the end of June and ends mid October.
 
*Note: Southern Cross University’s semesters are opposite to Brock because of their seasons. Southern Cross University’s school year starts in February, where as Brock’s school year starts in September.

Magellan College
  • Provides accommodation in a range of self-catered apartments with kitchens, lounge/dining areas, balconies and bathroom facilities.
On-campus housing - Coffs Harbour Campus
Carina College
  • Offers a range of self-catered four bedroom apartments with kitchens, lounge/dining areas, balconies and bathroom facilities. With 2 recently opened, this modern college caters for a diverse community of 96 residents.
