Department of History Field CourseHIST 3M51 – Modern Latin America in its Cities: Bogotá (Colombia)
The Department of History is happy to offer a unique study opportunity for students interested in learning outside of the formal classroom setting.
During your 4-week stay in Bogotá, you will be taken on field trips to archeological sites, libraries and archives, art museums, urban wetlands and more as you learn about the political, social, economic, cultural, and environmental history of Latin America from 1825 to the present.
Students will also be given days and half-days off during which they can read, work on course assignments or just experience Bogotano life.
